Here’s a roundup of some the main events taking place over the coming week in South Leeds. For full listings go over to our What’s On calendar here.
There are coffee mornings at both the Church of the Nazarene, Grove Road, Hunslet and Beeston Parish Centre on Town Street on Saturday. Both are 10am-12pm.
Holbeck and Beeston Cemetery volunteers will be undertaking their monthly session. Meet at Holbeck Cemetery at 10am, tools are provided, but bring your own refreshments.
The Your Space Women’s Walking Group will be visiting Meanwood Valley Urban Farm on Saturday. Call 07435 914350 for details.
Rugby League fans will appreciate ‘A Mighty Fall From Grace’. The one man show follows a Bradford Bulls fan as his club deteriorates on and off the pitch and is mirrored by his mental health. Slung Low present the show at The Holbeck on Saturday at 7:30pm.
It’s also Board Games Night at The Holbeck on Saturday. Learn a new game or play an old favourite, from 7:30pm.
And finally, Leeds United will be playing at home on Sunday against Leicester City. Kick off is at 2pm, so expect heavy traffic in Beeston before and after the game.
