A new course for would be journalists on your doorstep.
A brand new course started today in South Leeds. It is being run by local journalist John Baron, and seeks to increase the numbers of people equipped to report on communty issues in South Leeds. The course is open to anyone who is interested in promoting the flow of information around the area.
As a community development worker and fundraiser for the area, my interest is in raising awareness of learning opportunities for local residents and promoting fundraising activities of one of the district’s community transport projects.
The ten week course is based at the beautiful Tenants Hall in Middleton, and runs between 12 noon and 3pm on Tuesdays.
