As the school holiday starts, parents, carers, pupils and school staff are all being asked for their views on when the school Easter break should be. Since 2011 Leeds has had a fixed school Easter break in the first two weeks of April, regardless of when the Easter weekend falls.

Beeston Festival has announced that it is now taking stall bookings for this year’s event. The community festival which takes part in Cross Flatts Park each year will take place on Saturday 8th June. Stall pitches are priced according to the type of organisation and what is to be sold.
