Thanks to funding from the Leeds City Council Inner South Area Committee, Year 11 students starting in September 2013 can study additional vocational training courses for free at the Hunslet Club in mechanics, catering, hair & beauty and construction skills on one evening a week.
Donna Hall, Project Coordinator says “This year 35 students from across the area completed the course at the club which has helped them to go on to full time further education and in some cases apprenticeship and employment. We are now keen to see even more young people reach their full potential and take the right path towards future success.”
