What’s On Roundup:  18-24 January 2020

Here’s a roundup of some the main events taking place over the coming week in South Leeds. For full listings go over to our What’s On calendar here.

Young Archaeologists will be out and about in Middleton Park on Saturday. The Leeds Young Archaeologists’ Club is for any child, aged 8-16, who has an interest in exploring history, archaeology and life in the past. They meet at the Visitor Centre from 10am-12pm.

Expect a riot (of fun and glitter) in Holbeck on Sunday – it’s the monthly Leeds Dads meet up. This is for fathers and their pre-school children and takes place at The Holbeck, Jenkinson Lawn 2-4pm.

If you’re looking for something a bit calmer Jamyang Buddhist Centre in Holbeck hosts a Tai Chi workshop on Sunday, also at 2pm.

There’s a Police drop in on Tuesday, 10am-12pm at Hunslet Community Hub. A chance to raise issues with local PCSOs over a cuppa.

Aspiring creative writers will be meeting at Beeston Library, Town Street, 1-2:30pm to share ideas and support.

And finally, Wednesday morning is Tiny Tetley time. There are two sessions for pre-school age children at The Tetley, Hunslet’s own art gallery, at 10:30 and 11:45am. Booking essential.
