We start on New Year’s morning in Cross Flatts Park where there will be a special parkrun with runners and walkers tackling the 5k course starting at 9am.
Middleton Railway will be running Mince Pie Specials on Saturday and Sunday. The Moor Road museum opens at 11:30am with trains from 12-3pm.
Leeds United host Burnley on Sunday, kick off is at 2pm. Expect heavy traffic in Beeston before and after the game.
Hunslet Tenants & Residents Association invite you to meet your local PCSOs over a cuppa on Tuesday between 10am-12pm at Hunslet Community Hub & Library off Church Street. But as its January they won’t be holding their monthly public meeting this week.
Hunslet Carr Residents Association will be meeting on Thursday at Woodhouse Hill Community Centre from 6:30pm.
Also on Thursday, Beeston Community Forum will be meeting at Beeston Village Community Centre at 7:30pm.
