We want all of you to join in the free, fun, Great Middleton Park Show 2021

2020 is gone and we are looking forward to a brighter year. With that uppermost in our hearts, we are so happy to be able to put on this great show once again on our 101st year of the park.

This is also our 10th show, so we are extremely excited to celebrate two big occasions. Get your green fingers ready to grow for the show and get out those long unused glad rags to prepare for Sunday 12 September 2021 1–4pm.

This year our theme is Celebrating Community, and we are doing that by inviting everyone together in all your diversity. We will have a great afternoon of stalls, music, food, entertainment and not least the produce and arts and crafts you have created for the show.

Bring your fruit or veg or your artistic or crafty work or if you are a secret Mary Berry in the making, put in your entry and you may well take home a certificate and trophy and meet our VIP visitor. We want all of you to join in (entries must be submitted in the marquee by 11am for judging) gates open for the public at 1pm. Later any entries left unclaimed will be auctioned off.

You will have fun dancing along with our Zumba or Bhangra dancers, who are back by popular demand. Your children can find lots of activities too. We have animals, soft play areas, children’s entertainers and so much more.

And finally, why not hold a magnificent bird of prey and learn more about these lovely creatures, and see the sheep dog and its ducks and owner who have been invited to perform again.

Make a day of it and try some of the delicious foods and drinks on sale.

The whole event is funded by Friends of Middleton Park for the park users and the surrounding communities and schools. Best of all the whole event is FREE to visitors on the day.

Have a wonderful day doing something worthwhile and if you can offer your time by volunteering to help us on the day please contact Friends of Middleton Park.
