Giant Toybox at Dewsbury Road Community Hub – **POSTPONED**

**PLEASE NOTE THAT THE TOYBOX’S VISIT TO SOUTH LEEDS (SEE BELOW) HAS BEEN POSTPONED. WE’LL KEEP YOU UPDATED.**

Toybox is coming to Dewsbury Road Community Hub this weekend (Friday 9 – Sunday 11 March 2018), and it’s full of free playful events and workshops for all ages.

Toybox is a bright yellow, roving, toy-collecting shipping container. Share your stories of your favourite toys at the memory cabinet and record them into the magical chatterphone.

As well as the workshops (below) you can drop in anytime between 10:30am-4pm all weekend to play with the interactive toy lights, make cardboard dolls houses, and play with the giant games.

Friday 9 March 4-6pm   After school free play!

Launching the weekend of themed fun with giant spyrograph, Marble Run and magnetic games.

Saturday 10 March 10:30-11:30am and 12-1pm Make Your Old Games Come to Life

Join coding wizard Les for an hour long workshop in the library, to learn how to hack old electronic toys with technology called the micro:bit! Places are free, but limited so book now via facebook.com/playfulleeds

Sunday 11 March 10:30am-4pm    Toy Badge & Jewellery Making

Drop in and join Urban Magpie to make flashing badges and playful jewellery from old toys and games! Perfect for crafting a last minute Mothers Day gift!
