Video: Davis Cup comes to JCCS Tennis Centre

Pupils from Sharp Lane Primary School and The South Leeds Academy visited the Tennis Centre at the John Charles Centre for Sport today (19 April 2016) to see the Davis Cup Trophy and get a taste for tennis.

The trophy was won by the Great Britain team led by Andy Murray back in November and is being used by the Lawn Tennis Association to boost the grassroots game.

The Free Tennis For Kids programme will see 10,000 5-8 year old children taking part in a six week course. Three coaches at John Charles have been selected to deliver the courses which start on Tuesday 3 May. To book a place on the course go to:
