On the 3rd of March The Annual Dementia for a cuppa event will be held at BITMOs GATE, from 12pm. The Dementia for a cuppa event is in its 10th anniversary year.

I’m personally getting worse with my Dementia so will be my last year involved with this event. Hopefully can carry on a annual event with Carla and some help.
We held this event 2 years ago when we raised money for Admiral Nurses who look after people and families who have Dementia.
On the day we will have raffles, sell Buns and Cakes. If you can donate a prize or your baking for the event please let me or Carla know.
Buns and Cakes have been donated by BITMO GATE, Middleton Elderly Aid, Greggs and me, will donate a cake from Costco.
Raffle prizes so far Afternoon Tea with the Lord Mayor for 4 people and a tour round the Civic Hall,
Family Ticket to watch Hunslet Rugby League Club at South Leeds Stadium Lots of smaller prizes been added all the time.
I have sent a letter to Buckingham Palace to see if we can have Royalty at the event, watch this space.
Mr Guitar man , John to play his Guitar as background music on the day. Everybody know John who teaches people to play the Guitar and a man of many talents learning people Art at the centre.
Windmill Primary School are sending some Children to sing for us, between 12.30pm and 1pm. Not to be missed.
The Police PSCO and the Fire Brigade. Are coming to the event to give out advise.
Middleton Elderly Aid will have a stall to give out advice about there Centre in Middleton.
Julie as we all know is our Family Research Tutor will be at the event giving advise on Family Research. You can Join Julie and others on a Mondays from 10am to research your Family Tree, on the big screen.
So there we have it many more things to add too this event as the date gets closer. Please, please donate prizes to the raffle and get Baking.
