Try your own Holbeck and Beeston Photohunt

The Holbeck and Beeston Photohunt was a big success yesterday – but don’t worry if you missed it, you can do your very own photohunt!

All you need is a basic camera – a mobile phone would do. Simply print out the list of words below and try to find photographs in the community to go with those words. You don’t have to stick to Holbeck and Beeston – you can adapt it to other areas too.

Words we used for yesterday’s photohunt:

art, glass, mosaic, sculture, graffiti

language, diversity, unity, community, local

Holbeck, Beeston, blue plaque, Holbeck in Bloom, Matthew Murray

cemetery, water, park, moor, allotment

pillar, doorway, steps, chimney, window

subway, monument, tower, church, mosque

old, new, tradition, alive, dead

skyline, views, gate, swing, date, shoe,

stone, eye, wind, neighbour, friends, family

gold, green, , blue, white, grey

BONUS THEME: Your best thing about Beeston and Holbeck

Share your pictures to the Leeds Photohunt Flickr Group or email them to leedsphotohunt@gmail.com. Photos will be used for the Looking Good Holbeck and Beeston photo project, which highlights positive photography in the area.

Happy hunting!
