Tea Cosy Memory Café is 3 years old this week.
Tea Cosy Memory Café, is the major contributor, and originator of Dementia Friendly Rothwell, and will be holding its’ third birthday this Saturday (4 October 2014).
Instead of the usual breakfast, there will be a hot and cold buffet from 9.30am to 2.30pm (ish), and the bar will be open from 11.00am to 2.30pm
We will have a magician, to entertain us throughout, and a singer, (Lizzie from the Hare and Hounds).
The Lord Mayor and Lady Mayoress will be visiting between 11.00am and 12.00pm, and from 12.00pm until 1.00pm, we will have fun and games with the Ronaldo Brothers, who are a pair of professional clowns.
Radio Leeds, will also be recording interviews which will be broadcast week commencing 13 October. Please listen out for my Broadcast during that week.
We also expect to be visited by MPs, Councillors, Alzheimer’s Society, and many others have been supportive of our work over the last three years.
