Nearly 300 people from all walks of life joined together at Middleton Park this weekend (14 February 2015) to Run for Skye and raise money for cancer charities. Skye Sutcliffe is a little girl from Middleton battling a big health problem. Now 16 months old, Skye was just four months old when she was admitted to Leeds Children’s Hospital with suspected meningitis. It turned out to be acute lymphoblastic and myeloid leukaemia – two rare forms of cancer.
