Restored Sir Berkeley back in steam at Middleton Railway

South Leeds strikes gold at Yorkshire in Bloom

Three Gold Awards were handed to organisations in South Leeds at the recent Yorkshire in Bloom awards ceremony. Beeston in Bloom won in the Urban Community category; Middleton Railway in the Tourist Attraction category; and White Rose Shopping Centre in the Large Business category where it was joint Category Winner.

Music Federation pupils help railway mark Queen’s Jubilee

The Middleton Railway has commemorated the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee today (25 May 2022) by planting a tree at its Moor Road headquarters. Children from Windmill Primary and Low Road Primary schools ceremonially planted the tree in front of the railway’s “Engine House” building, witnessed by local councillors, volunteers and supporters.
