On Wednesday (12 February 2014) the Connexions South Team are opening a new drop-in at Hillside on Beeston Road (opposite the Greenhouse and just up from St Luke’s Primary School).
At the drop in young people in the south of the city will be able to speak to a personal advisor and access information, advice and guidance about education, employment and training. They can also help with other things like benefits, money problems, housing, alcohol, drugs or health issues, relationships, your rights and the law, staying safe, etc.
The drop in is for young people aged 15-19 years old and will run weekly on a Monday, Wednesday and Friday 1pm-5pm at Hillside from 12 February.
As a Connexions service we are really pleased to be able to start this community drop in and hope it will mean more young people in the area are able to access the support and guidance to move forward in life.
So if you are 15-19 and would like some support come and visit us at Hillside on a Monday, Wednesday or Friday 1-5pm.
Drop in sessions also run at the St George’s Centre in Middleton on every Monday 1-4pm and at the Point in the White Rose Centre on a Thursday 10am-12pm and 1-4pm.
