The Friends of Cross Flatts Park have announced this year’s programme of free Sunday afternoon concerts, with three shows in the run up to Beeston Festival, including the annual dog show.
Sunday 17 June Birds and Beasts – a four piece from Huddersfield. “Birds and Beasts display a natural instinct for memorable pop music … these songs get under your skin.”
Sunday 24 June The Caribbeans ever popular steel band return to bring more lilting versions of your favourite songs.
Plus the Annual Beeston Dog Show. Pedigree and fun categories, but who will be Best in Show? There is a charge for each class you enter your dog in.
Sunday 8 July Celtic Productions. The fantastic and versatile Celtic Productions with lead singer, Chris Kelly.
These free concerts run 2:30-4:30pm at the Watsonian Pavilion, near the top of Cross Flatts Park. The cafe will be serving drinks and cakes. All welcome.
