Councillor Mohammed Iqbal, (Labour, Hunslet and Riverside) Chair of the Community Committee said;

“Our local youth service are putting on some fabulous events in our parks across Inner South Leeds, and I’m delighted that the Community Committee has been able to provide funding to support them.

“It is great to be investing in the wellbeing of our young people, offering them positive activities during the school summer holidays.”

Councillor Sharon Burke (Labour, Middleton Park) added;

“It is really welcome to have these safe and engaging events on our doorstep and in our local parks and greenspaces. They’re a great opportunity for young people to come together and get active outdoors.
