Did you know that you can take out a subscription to South Leeds Life and receive our monthly paper to your door?
For just one pound a week – that’s less than the price of a coffee or pint – you can help us to keep bringing you the news about your neighbourhood.
We know times are tough and not everyone can afford to pay for their news, so the website and the newspaper will both remain free, always.
South Leeds Life has been bringing you your news for ten years now. It is news written by local people from your community. We know that matters to you and we want to continue for a long time.
Producing a newspaper and running a website costs money, even with volunteer reporters (thank you reporters!) and costs are rising. We are not extravagent, we don’t run an office, or even own the computers the paper is written and designed on.
We are trusting ourselves to you, the South Leeds community. We will continue to apply for grants where we can and sell advertising, but achieving a bedrock of supporters’ subscriptions will give us a firm and predictable financial footing and help us plan for the future.
It’s easy to sign up online just go to: steadyhq.com/en/southleedslife. If you don’t “do computers” ring our Editor on 07894 583966 and he’ll explain how you can set up a banker’s standing order.
We will even throw in a free limited edition South Leeds Life mug to all new subscribers so that you can enjoy a cuppa as you read the paper!
Please join the 67 subscribers listed below, it’s thanks to them that you’re reading this now.
