South Leeds Life has received the following email from Beeston resident Sally Cieslik, one of the organisers behind the SPLASH campaign to get South Leeds Sports Centre in Beeston reopened:
“Just a reminder that we have a meeting next Monday, 17 October, 7pm at Hillside to finalise plans for the 5th November 1st anniversary of closure event.
“Please come along to discuss and also to pick up fliers and posters for distribution to advertise it. We’ve got some brilliant ideas of things to do and these need some planning and forethought – any more ideas also welcome.
“Looking forward to seeing you there.”
