[slideshow]Hundreds of people got into the festive spirit at St Matthew’s Community Centre on Saturday to enjoy this year’s annual Holbeck Christmas Market.
The crowds flocked to the event which saw different organisations and local residents run a cafe, seasonal stalls, raffle, games, information and advice and Santa’s Grotto. And there were so many cakes and bottles of wine! Some stalls were so popular they’d sold out within two hours!
Your South Leeds Life had a stall, alongside Holbeck in Bloom, Voice of Holbeck, Holbeck Police, Mosaic Church and other groups. MP Hilary Benn also popped in for a chat.
Proceeds went towards next year’s Holbeck Gala.
