Reddoor Film & Media is staging an informative Reach Out Event at the White Rose Shopping Centre on Friday and Saturday (15-16 September 2023) showcasing short public information films from three organisations.
Perinatal Mental Health – Leeds and Yorkshire Partnership NHS Foundation Trust‘s Health Team will be showcasing their three new short films, which show how they can help both mums and dads with their mental wellbeing before, during and after pregnancy – known medically as the ‘perinatal period’.
West Yorkshire Violence Reduction Partnership – VAWG – West Yorkshire Police is committed to creating an environment where women and girls can feel safe and be safe within the county, free of fear and harassment. As part of the Force’s commitment to reducing Violence Against Women and Girls (VAWG), it has launched its Strategy, outlining how it intends to ensure that women and girls are safe and feel safe.
Harrogate and District NHS Foundation Trust – Bowel Cancer Screening – If you receive a kit please don’t ignore it, it could save your life! The kit is quick and easy to use and can be done in the comfort of your home. If you’re sent a kit, put it in the loo. Don’t put it off.
In addition to the short information films representatives from each local service will be on hand throughout Friday and Saturday to offer help and advice to those who require it.
The event will take place in the Central Atrium at White Rose Shopping Centre, outside Lush and JD Sports.
