Police issue further appeal after the death of a pedestrian

Police have re-issued their appeal for witnesses of a traffic incident that led to the death of a 38 pedestrian on Friday night.

The incident happened on Middleton Lane near the junction with Whinthorpe Avenue at around 9:25pm on Friday 23 March 2018. The 28 year old driver of a black Vauxhall Vectra was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving. He has since been released under investigation.

Police officers are particularly keen to trace the occupants of a small white car which was travelling along Middleton Lane in the direction of Thorpe, the same direction as the Vectra.
