Paddington™ fans rejoice! A special Christmas Paddington™ trail is coming to White Rose Shopping Centre. Built from a whopping 445,226 bricks over 1,481 hours, the exciting installation means shoppers can join the world’s favourite marmalade-sandwich-loving bear, Aunt Lucy and eleven other toy brick models for selfie opportunities.
Presented and built by BRICKLIVE , the Paddington™ trail is a unique collection of toy brick models featuring heart-warming characters and scenes from the classic and much-beloved franchise.
Brick fans will also have the chance to get an insight into how the models were built and gain inspiration for their own brick building projects.
To really bring the magic to life, visitors (little and large!) can collect a free trail map from centre entrances or the Customer Service Centre. Those that follow Paddington™ on his journey around White Rose Shopping and complete the map will also receive a Paddington™ sticker when returned to the Customer Service Centre.
What’s more, there’s also the chance to win one of two £25 gift cards from The Entertainer and a goodie bag for those who enter the trail’s selfie competition by taking a photo of themselves striking a pose with one of the Paddington™ sculptures.
And a Paddington™ trail isn’t the only way Christmas is coming to White Rose Shopping Centre this year. Beautiful new decorations depicting Santa’s nine reindeer with Santa’s sleigh have also been installed in the Central Atrium to inject some festive spirit to the centre.
Last but certainly not least, a 4m high teddy will make their home outside in The Village. Customers could be in with the chance to win their very own Build-A-Bear bear if their name is chosen.
Over the festive period, White Rose Shopping Centre will be open 9am-9pm on weekdays, 9am-8pm on Saturdays, and 11am – 5pm on Sundays. Last minute shoppers will be pleased to know that it will also remain open until 5pm on Christmas Eve.
White Rose has introduced a number of safety measures to reassure shoppers including hand sanitiser points throughout the centre, a one way system to ensure social distancing can be maintained, floor stickers and signs to remind guests to keep the required distance apart and a queuing system for entry to the centre.
