Off-road bikers injured in Belle Isle collision

Police are appealing for information after two men have been left seriously injured following a collision in Leeds.

Emergency services were called to Old Run Road at the junction of West Grange Fold, Belle Isle, at 10am this morning (19 February 2022) to reports that an off-road motorbike had collided with a stationary vehicle, a blue Vauxhall Astra.

The driver and passenger on the motorbike, both aged 19, sustained serious injuries and they are both currently in hospital.

The driver’s condition is described as life threatening.

Officers are appealing to anyone who witnessed the collision or the circumstances leading up to it, to get in touch, particularly those who may have Dash-cam footage.
