October half term at the Hunslet Club

The Hunslet Club is busy this October half-term (Monday 24 – Friday 28 October 2022). With various events lined up, every young person in South Leeds will be able to find something they enjoy this half-term.

October half-term activity camp

Running from Monday to Friday, we welcome every young person into our October half-term activity camp.

There are different tickets for our October half-term activity camp, including half-day and full-day tickets. The tickets are £7 for a half day or £11 for a full day, and the most expensive meal option is £2, with other hot food options costing 50p.

The programme features six different activity sessions for each child. Activities include football, baking, indoor play, outdoor play, rugby, dodgeball, IT/gaming, boxing, arts and crafts and more.

October rugby activity camp

Our October 2022 Rugby activity camp runs alongside our October Activity camp for children aged 6–12 years. Each session includes rugby training, games, challenges, a lunch break and several rest breaks to ensure every young person stays happy and healthy.

Our rugby activity camp runs on three days: Monday 24 – Wednesday 26 October.

Tickets are £11 per day as the sessions run from 9am to 3pm each day. Attendees must wear appropriate clothing for rugby training. Food will not be provided; therefore, we suggest bringing along a packed lunch and a water bottle.

October football activity camp

If rugby is not the sport for you, we also have our October football activity camp, which is a great way to kick-start the half-term. We welcome everyone between 6–12 years old to our activity camp. Each session includes football training, games, challenges, a lunch break and several rest breaks to ensure every young person stays happy and healthy.

Our rugby activity camp runs on three days: Wednesday 26 – Friday 28 October

Tickets are £11 per day as the sessions run from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm each day. Attendees must wear appropriate clothing for football training. Food will not be provided; therefore, we suggest bringing along a packed lunch and a water bottle. Hurry, there are limited tickets left.

A Hunslet Halloween

The Hunslet Club plans to end the October half-term in style with their classic Halloween party on Friday 28 October 2022. There will be a lot of spooky surprises in store, and we look forward to opening our doors to all the ghouls and ghosts that step into our club.

The party starts at 6pm, with everyone welcome to join the disco until 9pm. Alongside the disco, we will have our popular haunted hospital scare tour upstairs from 6pm, a dinosaur photo op costing £1 per person, a ballet dance performance at 7:15pm and of course, you can’t have a Halloween party without some fancy dress competitions, with prizes!

We couldn’t do our half-term events without the help of our amazing staff, volunteers and community. The Hunslet Club is built for the community, and hosting events like the above is a great way to bring the community together.
