This is The Ciaran Bungham Foundation Trust’s (CBFT) Project Manager – Nick Lindley.
Nick is not one to blow his own trumpet, quietly getting on with what needs to be done. But as well as the work we see him do front of house, there’s plenty behind the scenes that we don’t see. This includes finance, funding applications and preparation for our breakfasts and lunches.

“I have known Nick for some years and works tirelessly for the The Ciaran Bingham Foundation Trust. Working weekends with Margret . Not a lot of people would like to do that. So well done to the team. Thanks to Nick and Margret for all your continued support and hard work.”

Meet Margaret Brown our volunteer and what she has to say about her experience at CBFT:
“I have been a volunteer for CBFT for five years, mainly helping out with the Sunday lunches, afternoon teas and recently with breakfasts. I am really passionate about what CBFT provide for older people and feel privileged to be part of the team.
“I have made some good friends, both with other volunteers and with the older people coming along to the events. I get a great amount of pleasure from seeing people who may normally be sat at home alone, getting out of the house and having a good time.”
