It’s good to see new affordable housing being built in Beeston. These pictures show new homes being built for Chevin Housing on the Beverleys site off Lady Pit Lane. Half of the 55 homes will be for rent and the other half for shared ownership. The new housing replaces five terraces many of which were in poor condition and included north facing back to back houses that never got direct sunlight. The new houses have gardens and on the plans I saw a while ago, a public square.
