Following leafleting of the area, consultation meetings about the Beeston Plan have been arranged. The details are:
- Tuesday 24 June, 7-9pm at Cockburn High School
- Thursday 26 June, 3-5pm at Beeston Village Community Centre
- Tuesday 1 July, 6:30-8:30pm at Beeston Village Community Centre
These meetings are for all who live, work or own a business as set out in the leaflet. This an opportunity for members of the community to gain more information about the benefits of neighbourhood planning, learn about the process, return questionnaires and express their views in more detail. It is hoped these events will provide participants with the information they need to support the neighbourhood plan. The venues and times have been chosen to give easy access to the community.
The Beeston Community Forum which is sponsoring the Beeston Plan feels this is the way forward and invites all sections of the community to get involved. Together, ‘Let’s make Beeston better’.
