Music Festival in Middleton Park – this Sunday!

Leeds Music Trust and Friends of Middleton Park are getting together again to stage the third free Middleton Park Music Festival on Sunday 12 July 2015, 12-4p.m.

Middleton Park Music Festival

The line up includes 5 young local bands: Nightschool, Hands of Industry, Bondurants, Pneuma and Rob Ohew plus continuity from Vue-X and John Parkes, all from the Old Chapel music studios run by Leeds Music Trust in Holbeck. Some of them have played in the park before and are delighted to have another opportunity to play in the fantastic performance area with its superb accoustics.

Coinciding with a fun fair over the other side of the lake in the park, this event is expected to draw a large crowd. The cafe will be open as usual and there will be a hot dog stand as well.

Leeds Music Trust (LMT) and Friends of Middleton Park are both charities which rely on funding and donations for their work. There will be a bucket collection and LMT will be putting their share of the collection into their “Access All Areas” fund to install a lift in the Old Chapel building. LMT works inclusively and already has several practising musicians who use wheelchairs.
