Middleton Music Festival will be held on Saturday, July 20, (noon-6pm) behind Middleton Community Centre and will feature up and coming local bands, food and  entertainment.

The free event will be run by Middleton Community Group and aims to bring the community together.

Ian Kirkland said:

“It’s a way of bringing the young generation together and encouraging community spirit. Middleton has never seen anything like this before.”

Families will be encouraged to come and have a picnic.

Ian said any profits will go towards a new youth centre Middleton’s Community Group wants to build  on the site of the former Middleton  Marauders clubhouse.

Just like any music festival, the event will feature a stage and  local groups who want to fill in between acts involved are welcome.
Volunteers are needed for the day – contact Ian on 0741 1440253.

The date for this year’s Middleton Gala has been set for Saturday, July 13.
