Middleton Life project interviewed by Cockburn pupils

Members of the Middleton Life local history project have visited Cockburn School in Beeston to be interviewed by pupils about their memories of Middleton.

The hour-long interview – to be condensed into a 20-minute ‘broadcast’ online as part of a radio programme pit together by pupils – saw pupils ask questions about a variety of things including shopping in Middleton in the ‘olden days’ and changes in technology and lifestyles.

Middleton Life meets again on Wednesday when they’ll be looking to put together the panels of a permanent exhibition on Middleton’s history for Tenants Hall Enterprise Centre.
