Mark-Burns Williamson who is the Police & Crime Commissioner for West Yorkshire visited our Social Centre last Saturday (25 January 2020) to see what a difference the Safer Communities Fund Grant we received from them had made to us.
We had been having a lot of vandalism on our new Gardening Project, mostly damage to the Polytunnel. With the help from the funding we were able to secure the perimeter to help stop the vandalism.
We have also bought some personal alarms for our members to feel safer in the community.
The funding was greatly appreciated by our gardening club and all our members.
