Leeds City College has a wide range of part time courses starting across South Leeds from 5th November 2012 at its Joseph Priestley Campus (Morley), Milton House (Morley), Beeston Centre and Rothwell Centre.
Get ready for Christmas by cooking celebration food and making Christmas labels and calendars on your computer.
Find your creative side through painting & drawing, watercolours or digital photography.
Gain confidence to get a job or consider a new career by studying Food Hygiene, Health & Social Care (Level 1) or Introduction to Childcare.
Develop your existing IT skills or new ones – courses include Clueless about Computers, Cyber Safety, Mobile Technology, Social Networking, Develop Your Skills at Level 1 / 2 and Learn to use Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint 2010.
So whether you want to up-skill to get into employment, get a promotion or simply want to start a new hobby, we’ve got a course for you!
All of the former Joseph Priestley South Leeds Centres continue to offer a friendly and welcoming environment where local people can make new friends and learn new skills to benefit not just themselves but also the local community.
Concessions are available on a number of courses (for those with few qualifications / on state benefits) and some courses are actually free, although some are subject to a small administration charge.
HOW TO ENROL
Brush-up English & Brush-up Maths (Morley & Rothwell) both require interview before enrolment – Please contact the centre for an interview appointment prior to joining the class.
Health and Social Care (Morley) / Introduction to Childcare (Rothwell) – You must attend the information session 1 week prior to joining the class. Please ring the Centre to book onto the information session.
For all other courses you can enrol at the start of the course. Please remember to bring with you ID and any payments and fee waivers if applicable.
