A music video filmed partly on location earlier this year at the Hunslet Club by local film production company Crowns & Owls has been shortlisted for two prestigious UK Music Video Awards for best choreography in a video and best budget dance video respectively.
The video for the song “Showdown” by Toby Gale features the Hunslet Club boxing gym in scenes set in the 1980’s and the producers did done a fantastic job of back-dating the gym to how it will have looked over twenty years ago.
We think it looks great and the song sounds in keeping with the era, lets hope it brings some music industry silverware back to South Leeds!
