Important week of meetings in South Leeds

Could a new primary school be built here?

There’s a whole raft of important public meetings and events in South Leeds this week.

As revealed by South Leeds Life last week, there are three public meetings to discuss plans for a new school on the site of the former South Leeds Sports Centre. The meetings are tomorrow (Monday) at the Hamara Centre at 2pm, Tuesday at Tunstall Road Community Centre at 5.30pm and Wednesday at St Matthew’s Community Centre at 7.30pm.

Also on Wednesday, local councillors from across south Leeds will meet on Wednesday at Belle Isle Family Centre, St John & Barnabas Church, Belle Isle Road (6.30pm). Primary school places inSouth Leeds will also  be one of the items on the agenda, along with the southern entrance to Leeds Station, the latest crime levels and proposals to establish a Middleton Park Strategic Advisory Group.

Health for All has announced a spot of cleaning up around Beeston Village Community Centre will be taking place on the morning of 27th September.
