It’s almost time for the Palm Sunday Parade in Hunslet on Sunday (2 April 2023) at 2pm, organised by The Hunslet Gathering.
The donkeys are getting ready, the refreshments are being prepared, the sunshine has been asked for, the playlist is being selected, and the palm leaves … well, you’ll see on Sunday.
As last year, we will start from St Mary’s Spire at 2pm, and celebrate together in the streets of Hunslet.
We are planning to make a few stops along the way – Hemingway Garth, Assissi Place, Pepper Lane, Hunslet Commons to finally arrive at Hunslet Church of the Nazarene where we will enjoy refreshments.
There will be an opportunity to ride the donkeys once the Palm Sunday Parade has arrived at the church.
Everyone is welcome to walk with us, or you can just join us at one of the stops, or come for refreshments at the end of the Parade.
It all starts this Sunday at 2pm at St Mary’s Spire. See you there. We look forward to celebrating together in the streets of Hunslet.
