Hunslet Hawks chief Alan Stephenson steps down

Hunslet Hawks Chief Executive Alan Stephenson wil leave the club on 30 November, it has been announced by the club this evening.

Stephenson had been at the South Leeds club for over 20 years with roles ranging from bar manager, lottery manager to chief executive.

The club said tonight in a statement:

“He has made many lifelong friends and his departure will leave a large void which will be difficult to fill. One of Alan’s final contributions to the Hawks will be the annual Christmas lunch which will give a chance for many of his friends to celebrate his achievements.”

Alan said:

“I am leaving the club with my best wishes and I will remain a supporter and will attend as many games as possible. I would like to place on record my thanks to all those that have helped me in my work at Hunslet over the years.”
