Holbeck Pop Up Hub

The Pop Up Hub will be available in Holbeck today (Tuesday 30 May 2017). Based on a library bus, residents will be able to access a range of services between 10am and 3pm whilst it’s parked on Crosby Road, near the Recreations.

Dewsbury Road One Stop Centre staff will provide advice on council benefits, council tax, housing, social care, anti-social behaviour, as well support with problem debt and budgeting.

Help can also be given if you are looking work or training such as developing your skills for future jobs, creating a winning CV and covering letter, setting up an email account, completing on-line and paper application forms, interview techniques, confidence building, job matching and careers advice.

Housing Leeds Officers will answer any concerns you may have about your Private Rented or Housing Leeds property, bringing empty homes back into use and environmental issues such as waste collections, fly tipping, littering and dog fouling in the area.

A fire prevention officer from the West Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service will be available on request to give you tips on how to stay safe in your home and what to do in the event of a fire.

A member of the Neighbourhood Policing team will be on hand from 10 to 11am for crime prevention advice or to report any issues you may have about the area.

Connect for Health will be on the bus to help residents access services and support in the community.

You can also speak to Forward Leeds in confidence about any drug or alcohol problems, whose staff will be able to provide full tailored support packages suitable to your needs.
