Holbeck based feel-good lifestyle brand, Joe Browns, today announces the triumphant reach of its one million customer account mark.
Since the quirky catalogue and online clothing company was founded with just a handful of staff in 1998, it has gone on to secure over 200 wholesale accounts worldwide and obtained total retail sales in the past year of over £85 million.
The retailer is currently among the top performing brands on sites including Littlewoods, Isme, Very, Debenhams, Simply Be, Marisota and Jacamo as well as the Freemans Grattan Holdings group.
Founder and MD, Simon Brown, said:
“It’s all down to the product and the people.
“The two things I am most proud of are the people that I work with and the fact that we have managed to build Joe Browns without borrowing a bean. In this game that is a very difficult thing to do and I put that down to the product being right.”
The one millionth customer’s order was dispatched from the company’s funky headquarters in Holbeck, South Leeds, where, true to the brands image, its offices are adorned with classic motorbikes, drum kits, space hoppers and football tables.
