Starting on 23 July, every Thursday you can join the new Holbeck Together Green Champions Group and help create a cleaner, greener, and more welcoming environment for everyone.
Whether you’re interested in community gardening, local clean-ups, or helping improve green spaces, this is a great opportunity to make a positive difference while connecting with others in your community.
No experience is needed – just enthusiasm and a desire to help make Holbeck an even better place to live. Plus, a free lunch is provided at each session.

Family Outings
Holbeck Together are offering family coach outings to Bridlington and Scarborough (Blackpool Pleasure Beach is already fully booked) for local vulnerable children and their immediate families in the Holbeck and Beeston area.
The series of group and family outings to the seaside offer young children and their families’ experiences that foster learning, social interaction, and fun, whilst supporting the well-being of all participants. The development of social skills and strengthening family bonds by providing holistic support across the day to both children and their caregivers.
These outings would not be possible without the continued support from the Yorkshire Children’s Charity whose funding has enabled this project and created special memories for many.
- Bridlington: Friday 31 July
- Scarborough: Friday 28 August
Both trips leave St Matthew’s Community Centre in Holbeck at 9am, returning at 4:30pm. Tickets cost £5 per person, which includes a packed lunch.
