I would like to invite you to the official launch of The ‘Cottingley Sphinx Square’ which will commence at 2-5pm on Saturday the 5th of May, writes Robyn Holland of Cottingley TRAC.
It will be held at Cottingley Community Centre, 115 Cottingley Approach , however the ‘Sphinx Square’ will be opened at 2.30pm by Rt Hon Hilary Benn MP and Cllr Angela Gabriel at the site of the landscaping.
TRAC have organised a family fun day to celebrate the improved landscape and to give thanks to all those involved in making the project a success.
The area is on the site of the old Sphinx pub, which was demolished last year and had become a haven for anti-social behaviour.
