HEA (formerly Holbeck Elderly Aid) has introduced a regular cinema outing to the Showcase De Lux Cinema in Birstall.
Members view new releases in the most comfortable of surroundings, enjoying the leather reclining chairs whilst enjoying films such as ‘Dad’s Army’, ‘The Danish Girl’ and the academy award winner ‘Spotlight’. Members have given such positive comments and feedback that this is definitely an outing that is here to stay. HEA have also started regular theatre trips. The trip to see ‘Joseph and his Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat’ at The Grand was a sell out and was thoroughly enjoyed by everyone. A trip to see ‘Kes’ at the West Yorkshire Playhouse has also been booked. The show is on Thursday 2 June, if you would like to go please reserve you place by Thursday 19 May.
