Hunslet Hawks meet ground capacity requirements thanks to grass banking

Hunslet Hawks RLFC have received a timely boost by meeting the minimum ground capacity requirements for the Championship. Revised rules for the RFL Championship season in 2013 require clubs to have a minimum ground capacity of 3000. John Charles Centre For Sport Stadium ground capacity is currently listed at 2450.

Poll: Should Hunslet and Morley fire stations be merged?

As you may have heard, Hunslet Fire Station could close under proposals being recommended by West Yorkshire’s chief fire officer. Middleton speeding discussed at New Forest Village residents’ meeting

Local residents attended the latest New Forest Village community meeting in Middleton held at the St George’s Centre. The residents raised three main points during the meeting: 1)  Speeding and dangerous driving on New Forest Way; residents reported that this occurs at all times of day but mainly on an evening from 5pm
