These are busy times for us here at South Leeds Life and we thought we’d provide you with a quick update on some of the stuff we’re doing.
The deadline for the second issue of South Leeds Life magazine is this Friday, so if you’ve got anything you’d like to contribute or see in it, give us a shout. It shaping up to be a cracker, if we do say so ourselves!
We’re also in the middle of sorting out four community news cafes in Belle Isle and Beeston, where you can come and meet some of the folks behind the blog, tell us your stories – perhaps we can help you with writing, viudeo or audio skills. Oh – and you can have a nice cuppa as well! We’ll let you know the dates soon.
We’re also heavily involved in the Middleton Life community history project run by Health For All. More on that soon.
And you can catch us fortnightly on BBC Radio Leeds on Fridays at about 4.20pm. We were on last Friday talking about the Friends of Middleton Park and Friends of Cross Flatts Park groups.
Watch this space for more!
Is there anything you’d like us to do or cover? What do you think of the blog? Let us know in the comments section below or drop us an email. Remember, this is YOUR blog – we can’t do it without you.
