Burnt-out car found in Beeston

A police investigation is underway after the discovery of a burnt-out car in Beeston.

The charred remains of a blue three-door Toyota Yaris were left on Stratford Terrace near Tempest Road with its interior completely gutted and windows smashed. It is currently unknown when exactly the crime took place and who the perpetrators are.

West Yorkshire Police issued the following statement:

“Police were called at 10:50pm on Sunday 3 March 2019 to reports of two vehicles on fire in Leeds.

“Police and fire service attended Stratford Terrace and the fire was extinguished. The vehicles were involved were a blue Ford and blue Toyota Yaris.

“Anyone who witnessed anything in the area on Sunday evening is asked to contact the police via 101 quoting crime reference number 13190114607.”
