BITMOs GATE.
The GATE is closed because of the coronavirus. There will also be no Belle Isle Community Gala this year and no coach trip to Bridlington. We will let you know when the GATE is able to reopen and what services are available.
As you know, everyone is being asked to stay at home and:
1.only go outside for food, health reasons or work (where this absolutely cannot be done from home)
2. stay 2 metres (6ft) away from other people
3. wash your hands as soon as you get home
4. If you’re unable to leave the house due to the COVID-19 Virus pandemic and you’re worried because you don’t have family or friends who can help, please contact Leeds City Council on ☎ 0113 378 1877. You will be matched with a local volunteer.
If you feel able, you can volunteer to help other people by visiting Doing Good Leeds, emailing info@val.org.uk or calling 0113 2977920. Once signed-up volunteers will receive training and then be matched with opportunities locally to help.
Three ways to help stay safe and look after your physical and mental health at home
Talk to people – neighbours from a safe distance, friends and family by phone calls or with video calling on apps like WhatsApp, Facebook or Skype.
Stick to a routine – regular mealtimes, exercise sessions, phone calls at set times
Exercise – follow exercise routines, go on walks or runs once a day but on your own or with one household member and maintain 2m distance from other people.
