Benji the dog stolen in Hunslet burglary – appeal

Police are appealing for information after a dog called Benji was stolen last night during a burglary on Rocheford Grove, Hunslet.

The incident occurred between 10am and 10.20pm at a ground floor flat, when the intruder entered through a bathroom window before leaving the property with a Technics stereo and Benji, a Staffordshire Bull Terrier.

Benji, who is mircrochipped, is around four or five years old and is predominantly brown with a white patch on his chest.

He is described as a friendly animal and has a distinctive lump on his chest. When he was last seen he was wearing a black canvas collar.
