The annual series of free concert, organised by the Friends of Cross Flatts Park, kicks off on Sunday (30 June 2019) with the popular Latin American sounds of Mestisa.
They will be followed by The Caribbeans Steel Band on Sunday 7 July; Yorkshire swing band, Swing of Things on 14 July along with the annual Dog Show; and Birds and Beasts – animal themed pop – on Sunday 21 July.
Concerts start at 2:30pm outside the Watsonian Pavilion near the top of the park. As usual tea and homemade cakes will be served and there will be children’s craft activities, bric a brac and book stalls.
