New inclusive school opens in Belle Isle
Trio of new schools for children with Special Educational Needs nears completion The second of three purpose-built schools which will transform education for pupils with social, emotional and mental health needs opened this week in Belle Isle. Springwell Leeds South on Belle Isle Road will serve 100 youngsters aged 11-16.

Bumps and Babes exercise in the park
Two new outdoor exercise classes start next week for pregnant women and new mothers in South Leeds. The free classes are called Bumps and Buggy Fit and incorporate a walk in the park with basic fitness exercises. They will take place in Cross Flatts Park on a Thursday and Middleton

Forward Leeds, the alcohol and drug service, is forging closer links with LGBT+ community by starting drop in sessions at Yorkshire MESMAC’s city centre location. The sessions take place every second Thursday in the month and are open to anyone whether they have concerns about their alcohol or drug use
