White Rose Shopping Centre plays host to some exotic visitors this summer, as 14 amazing sculptures containing more than half a million LEGO® bricks arrive on Tuesday (23 July 2019).
The huge creations from the BRICKLIVE Animal Paradise tour – which include a Bengal Tiger, a Giant Panda, an Orangutan, and more – have been chosen to highlight the plight of endangered species around the world.
Each life-size sculpture is made up of tens of thousands of bricks, and take hundreds of hours to build. The two-week Animal Heroes exhibition is free for visitors to attend – just in time for the summer holidays.

“We can’t wait to see our visitors’ reactions to spotting these incredible creations in White Rose. The animals really are breath-taking – who wouldn’t be surprised by an African lion or gorilla outside Cineworld, by the play area?
“The Animal Heroes exhibition is free for visitors to enjoy, and alongside free parking, more than 100 shops and restaurants, and a great line-up of releases at Cineworld, a visit to White Rose is guaranteed to be the perfect family day out this summer.”

The Bricktastic Animal Heroes will be on display throughout White Rose from 23 July to 7 August, and attendees are invited to pick up a free trail map from the Customer Service Centre. White Rose is also collecting used LEGO® bricks to benefit Brick 42, a Community Interest Company run by people with autism for people with autism which hosts LEGO® therapy. Used LEGO® bricks can be dropped off at the donation station by the Customer Service Centre.
